Description

On this exciting excursion to the Colca Valley, we will explore one of the deepest canyons in the world and the charming Andean village of Chivay.
Itinerary
3:20 a.m.: Pick up from your hotel in Arequipa. After a three-hour drive, we will arrive in Chivay around 6:00 a.m. for a light breakfast with local specialties.
Then, we will head to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint, where we will spend an hour enjoying the views of the Colca Canyon and watching condors in flight.
We will continue visiting viewpoints such as Wayrapunko and Antahuilque, where we will admire hanging tombs and pre-Inca and Inca terraces. Afterwards, we will have time to relax in the thermal baths of Chacapi (45 minutes), or, if you prefer, you can practice zip-lining or kayaking.
Around 12:00 p.m., we will return to Chivay for lunch. Then, we will visit the Mirador de los Volcanes to contemplate the Chila mountain range and the Ampato and Hualca Hualca Hualca snow-capped peaks.
We will cross the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, admiring the silhouettes of the Misti and Chachani volcanoes before returning to Arequipa, where we will conclude the excursion around 5:30 p.m..
Pick up
Included for hotels within 1 kilometer of the Plaza de Armas. If your hotel is outside this area, you will have to be at 2:40 a.m. at the Plaza de Armas.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
