Discover the soul of Chuncho cacao in this unique experience that celebrates the connection between the senses, the land, and the work of the producing communities of Ivochote, Quillabamba, Cusco.
Learn about the bean-to-bar process, from the fresh fruit to the nibs used to make chocolate bars. Smell, touch, and taste cacao in different formats, from fresh fruit to chocolate bars in varying percentages.
Choose from three alternatives to create a final product. Learn to temper and prepare your own 70 or 80% chocolate bar and add nuts to your liking. Prepare your own "mendiant" (70% chocolate crunchy base) and decorate it with Peruvian superfoods such as camu camu, aguaymanto, quinoa or kiwicha pop, roasted sacha inchi, roasted tarwi, as well as other fruits and seeds.
Make energy balls with raw cacao, maca, and figs-three Peruvian superfoods in one super-nutritious bite. Take home 80 grams of the products you make during the workshop.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
