From Cajamarca: Private excursion to the Kuelap Fortress (full day) Individual in English

Immerse yourself in an interesting journey by land and air to visit the magnificent Kuelap Fortress in northern Peru.
This exceptional tour will be carried out as follows:
Day 1:
23:00 hrs. Pick up from lodging and departure to the city of Nuevo Tingo (Kuelap), passing through the districts of Celendin (Cajamarca) and Leymebamba (Amazonas).
Day 2:
07:00 hrs. Arrival to Nuevo Tingo. Breakfast (at passenger's expense).
07:30 hrs. Transfer to the cable car terminal to Kuelap.
08:00 hrs. Transfer by bus from the boarding station to Platform No.1; transportation by cable car from Platform No.1, to Platform No.2.
08:25 hrs. Arrival and visit to the citadel of Kuelap, called The Fortress and built on top of a high mountain, is the most important archaeological site of the Peruvian mountainous jungle, it is presented to the visitor as an impregnable place, surrounded by cliffs and cliffs on three of its four sides, built in an area of beautiful landscapes that combine the heights of the Andes and the Amazon jungle which creates an incomparable spectacle. Kuelap is formed by two gigantic superimposed artificial platforms, on which a city that covers an approximate extension of 450 hectares was built, in general and seen from the air, its shape resembles an elongated bird's wing, with approximate measures of 584 meters long by 120 meters wide; according to some specialists, 25`000,000 cubic meters of material were used in its construction.
11:30 hrs. Descent by cable car from Platform No. 2 to Platform No. 1; transfer by bus from Platform 1 to the boarding station in the town of Nuevo Tingo. Transfer to a restaurant.
12:00 hrs. Lunch in the town of Maria (at passenger's expense).
13:00 hrs. Return to the city of Cajamarca.
21:00 hrs. Arrival to the city of Cajamarca and transfer to the lodging.
