The Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley or “Vinicunca” is a majestic place and a gift from nature. It is located near Ausangate Mountain in the Cusco region, Peru.
The Colored Mountain and the Red Valley are the 5 most beautiful mountains in the world for the colors it has, it is also listed by the National Geographic magazine as one of the 100 most visited places in the world.
Our trip will head to the southern valley of Cusco. Our travel company will pick you up from your hotel at an indicated time the day before the trip (approx. 4:30 am) and we will start a 2 hour trip to the district of Cusipata. After breakfast we will continue the trip for 1 hour and 20 minutes more to the community of LAYA 4630 meters above sea level.This is where our atv adventure begins.
Before the tour we will have an instruction of the guide. To start the adventure in the ATVs to the red valley with an estimated time of 30 minutes enjoying this enigmatic place and then we will hike for 30 minutes to visit the mountain of the 7 colors and take souvenir photos and an explanation of the place. Afterwards the whole group will return by the same trail to the ATVs to board the bus and return to the restaurant for lunch.
Total bus ride 7 hours, ATV adventure 50 minutes, hiking time 1 hour round trip.
The tour has a duration of 14 hours. The tour ends at the Plaza del Regocijo which is located one block from the main square of Cusco.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
