Day 1 involves departing Cusco in the early morning and driving to Capuliyoc. Upon arrival, trekkers are greeted by stunning views of the Apurimac Canyon before beginning their descent. The trek concludes in the afternoon at the hamlet of Santa Rosa, where camp is set up for rest and preparation for the next day's journey.

Day 2 begins with an early start in Santa Rosa and a hearty breakfast in preparation for the challenging ascent to Marampata. The steep hike is rewarded with stunning views of the Apurimac Valley. Upon reaching Marampata, trekkers take a break before continuing on to Choquequirao. The final stretch includes a mix of gentle paths and steep sections leading to the captivating Inca ruins. The day concludes with setting up camp near Choquequirao, where trekkers can rest and reflect under the Andean stars.

On Day 3, trekkers wake up at the Choquequirao ruins and have breakfast before retracing their steps back to Marampata. The descent offers a new perspective of the stunning landscapes seen the previous day. After a short break in Marampata, the journey continues with a steep descent to Chiquisqa. Despite the challenging terrain, the natural beauty and sounds of wildlife keep the hikers’ spirits lifted. The day concludes with the arrival at Chiquisqa, where camp is set up for the night amidst serene surroundings, wrapping up another fulfilling day of the trek.

On the fourth day, trekkers leave Chiquisqa and begin their ascent back to Capuliyoc, feeling nostalgic yet discovering new aspects of the trail. The climb rewards them with magnificent views of the Apurimac Canyon, reinforcing the grandeur of their adventure. At Capuliyoc, they pause to savor their achievements before driving back to Cusco.
