Cusco: 5 Days of Adventure and Wonders

Discover the magic of Cusco in 5 days, a journey that takes you from the ancient cobblestone streets to the impressive archaeological remains of a lost empire.
(Please note that this tour must be booked 2 months in advance or you must check the availability of entrance tickets to Machu Picchu for the desired date).

Day 1 AIRPORT PICK-UP - CUSCO CITY TOUR
Your Cusco experience begins at 13:00 hrs. with a City Tour that includes visits to Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), Sacsayhuaman, Q'enqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay (Temple of Water). The tour highlights the historical and cultural heritage of the city and ends around 18:30 hrs.
Day 2: SACRED VALLEY CONNECTION
We will begin with hotel pick-up (near or in the Historic Center) between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m.
We will head to our first destination, the archaeological center of Pisac, where we will enjoy a brief guided tour.
Then, we will continue to Urubamba, where we will have a delicious Andean buffet lunch.
Afterwards, we will travel to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, where we will have a guided tour of the most relevant areas.
At the end of the visit, we will transfer to the train station to board the train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night.
In the evening, the guide will come to your hotel to give you a briefing about the next day.
Day 2: MACHU PICCHU
-The tour starts early, we will go to the bus station where we will board the bus that will take us to the entrance gate to Machu Picchu.
-Upon arrival we will enter with the guide and enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, we will have time to walk around part of the area and for photographs.
-Then we will return in the same buses to the village for lunch.
-In the afternoon you will take the train back to Cuzco (check in 30 minutes before the departure of the train). The return will be by the same route as the outbound trip, upon arrival at the train station in Ollantaytambo will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.
Day 4 SALINERAS / MARAS AND MORAY
Pick up at approximately 8:00 am from your hotel near the center of the city (by accessible streets) We will travel from Cusco to Chinchero. -We will visit the textile interpretation centers of Chinchero. -Arriving at Moray, we will visit the Inca agricultural experimental center, being terraces with microclimates, for experimental purposes. -Then we will arrive to the salt mines of Maras, also known as “salt mines”, its exploitation is as old as the time of Tahuantinsuyo. -We will return to Cusco at approximately 3:00 pm and we will be dropped off near the Plaza de Armas.
DAY 5 TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
We will pick you up at your hotel at the appointed time
to transfer you to the airport.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
