Description

Ayahuasca is used to seek emotional healing, deep self-knowledge, and spiritual connection through visionary and transformative experiences.
Our meeting takes place in the center of Cusco in our main office. We have a short introductory talk between the shaman and the participants, in which we discuss our interest in taking the medicine. In this way, we identify and focus on the issues we want to work on during the ceremony with the master plant Ayahuasca.
Then we head to our maloca located near the Temple of the Moon where we will perform the ceremony, take the medicine, and accompany the experience with music and instruments that provide greater focus.
The experience lasts approximately 6 hours depending on the intensity and sensitivity of the participant, so we start in the afternoon at 5 pm and finish around midnight.
During the process, we will perform an ancestral ritual of offering to Mother Earth - Pachamama to show our gratitude for the life and love we receive from her.
Before returning to the city, we will share a light breakfast together and talk about our experience with the Ayahuasca plant and interpret the visions we had during the ceremony.

During the ceremony, participants prepare themselves mentally and emotionally for an inner journey. Generally, the atmosphere is serene and surrounded by respect and silence. The ceremony may begin with an invocation by the shaman, who guides the participants through the process, ensuring that they are protected and spiritually guided.

The effects of ayahuasca usually begin after a short period of time and include visions, revelations, and deep emotional and physical purification. People may experience nausea, vomiting, and other physical effects, which are considered part of a cleansing and healing process. The shaman acts as a mediator between the participants and the spiritual forces that manifest during the ceremony.

The event culminates with a sense of closure, where participants reflect on their experiences and receive guidance. Although the atmosphere is generally very respectful and spiritual, each ceremony is unique and can have different effects depending on the context and intentions of the participants.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
It is important that participants fast for at least one day before the ceremony, as the plant cleanses them physically through vomiting and defecation. Before the ceremony, it is recommended to follow a light and clean diet, avoiding processed foods, fatty foods, sugary foods, red meat, dairy products, alcohol, and recreational drugs. It is also advisable to reduce the consumption of salt and strong spices. The diet usually includes fresh foods, vegetables, fruits, and grains, and it is suggested to maintain it for several days prior to the ceremony to purify the body and mind, as well as to help maximize the effects of the ceremony.
The meeting point is our main office, "Choquequirao Experience." You can easily find it because there are two San Pedro cacti at the door.
