Description

If you are visiting Cusco-Peru, join a tour of the Sacred Valley and Inca Trail over 2 days. Appreciate the landscape of the tropical jungle with a great variety of flora and fauna.
Day 1:Sacred Valley
First we will pick you up at the hotel in Cusco between 7:00 – 8:00 am to go to the archaeological zone and the typical Pisaq market, where we will have a guided tour of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
After our visit to Pisaq, we will travel over the Vilcanota River until we reach Urubamba (the capital of the sacred valley) where we will have a buffet lunch (typical Andean foods).In the afternoon we visit the Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo where we will have a guided tour of 1 hour and 20 minutes.
After visiting Ollantaytambo we will have the opportunity to walk through the streets of the town and do some shopping. Spend the night in Ollantaytambo.
Day 2:Ollantaytambo – km104 – Aguas CalientesThe Inca Trail tour 2 days 1 night, begins with the pick up from the hotel in Ollantaytambo (5:30 Hrs) and then we go to the train station in Ollantaytambo.
We will board the tourist train to kilometer 104, from where the walk will begin, crossing the bridge that is located over the Urubamba or Willkamatuc River (Sacred River) and the control point.
Then we will arrive at the archaeological center of Chachabamba (dedicated to the water treaty) and Choquesuysuy (the gold pan is a site of pure water).
Continuing with the walk for 3 hours we will arrive at Wiñaywayna (Eternally Young), an archaeological center that contains 20 buildings, a rainbow temple and fertility.
After getting to know Winaywayna we will walk for 2 hours through Andean trails, stone stairs and tambos (“resting places”) until we reach Inti Punku – Puerta del Sol (2,720 m / 8,923 ft) which in Inca times functioned as an entrance control to the Citadel of Machu Picchu.
From Inti Punku you have an impressive panoramic view of Machu Picchu and the entire valley that surrounds it, then we will descend for approximately 30 minutes to the wonder of the world Machu Picchu (2,490 m / 8,169 ft).
Finally, arrive at the town of Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night in a hotel.Here we will also have a delicious à la carte dinner in a very cozy restaurant in this town.In summary:

Day 3:Citadel of Machupicchu Cusco-Peru
Wake up very early and head to Machu Picchu, we will have a guided tour of 2 hours and 30 minutes where you will learn about the Incas and visit all the most important areas of the citadel.
After your tour, you will have free time to explore the site yourself and if you have permits to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain. In the afternoon, you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo from where you will head back to Cusco.
