Machu Picchu 2 Days/1 Night (By Bus)

Day 1: Cusco - Santa Teresa - Hydroelectric - Aguas Calientes
We pick you up at the meeting point at 6:30 am for our Van our trip will be with a scenic walk to Ollantaytambo, where we will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the area, we have a short stop of 30 minutes.

From there, we will follow the path of the “Abra de Málaga” 4316 m. with spectacular landscapes some llamas and alpacas of the area.

After stopping at the pass for a short stop, we begin to descend into the jungle, passing through the different microclimates that combine the paradisiacal landscapes of the majestic snow-capped peaks with the heat, the entrance to the tropical forest.

We will continue the trip until we reach
the town of Alfamayo. Still, the road is paved. Until we reach Santa Maria 1575 m. altitude, here we will take a break and then continue to Santa Teresa where we will have lunch at a local restaurant.

After enjoying lunch we will continue on foot for 2 hours to Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu town, overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco
Wake up at 4:30 in the morning to have enough time to climb the steep path to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary in approximately 1:30 h. and see the sunrise, then you will have a private guide for approximately 2 hours.

After the tour you will enjoy free time until approximately 12:00 hours, which is the recommended time to return to the HIDROELECTRIC to take the bus to CUSCO.

We will arrive in Cusco around 21:30 hours approx.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
