Description

We will visit the Pisco and Wine Cellars in the Ica countryside, tour the Huacachina Desert in Buggies, and slide along the sand on sandboards.
11:00 AM: The tour begins with pickup from Ica, Huacachina, and nearby areas.

12:00 PM: Our first stop is at an industrial winery, either Hacienda Tacama or Vista Alegre. Here, we will explore the winery's facilities and learn about the step-by-step process of Pisco and wine production, followed by a tasting of their products.

1:30 PM: Next, we will visit a second artisanal winery known as "El Arrabal." A guided tour will take us through the facilities, where we will enjoy tastings of Piscos, wines, and Pisco creams.

2:30 PM: Guests will have free time for lunch at Vitivinicola Restaurant, which features a variety of Peruvian dishes, vegetarian options, and local specialties from the Ica region, such as arroz con pato, carapulcra con sopa seca, and lima beans.

15:30 h: After lunch, we will head to the Huacachina oasis. We will stop by our office to check in before heading to a small dune, where we will board our Buggy vehicles.

16:00 - 16:30 h: Our desert adventure begins with a Buggy excursion. We will also have the opportunity to try sandboarding and we will make several stops to take stunning photographs with the vast desert and towering sand dunes as a backdrop.

18:00 - 18:30 h: The Buggy and sandboarding experience will end and we will return to our office to arrange return transportation.

  • Entrance ticket to Hacienda Tacama S/25.00 soles per adult, S/6 soles per child.
  • Tourist tax ticket in Huacachina S/3.60 soles per person.
  • PS: On Mondays, “Hacienda Tacama” does not operate, instead we will visit another industrial vineyard called “Bodega Vista Alegre”. The cost of entry to this hacienda is S/15.00 soles per person. On holidays and festivities, the cost of entry to the haciendas increases by S/5.00 soles.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
