Description

Tour the artisanal wineries of the Pisco Route in Ica, enjoy the scenery of the valley and learn about the production process. Includes generous tastings of Pisco, wine and Cachinas.
Join us on this exciting tour where we will explore the most emblematic districts of the Iqueña countryside, visiting its traditional wine cellars. Enjoy generous tastings of Pisco, wine and Cachinas, all included. We will visit 3 of the most important wineries in the region.
We will start with the pick up at your hotel and head to the Bodega El Catador, an artisan winery where we will learn about the process of elaboration of artisan pisco, enjoying its different varieties. This winery has won national awards thanks to products such as the semi-prepared Pisco Sour and the fine Pisco Cream.

Then, we will visit the Lazo Winery, where we will be able to taste a variety of wines and piscos. In addition, we will visit its authentic Spanish cellar from the XVI and XVII centuries, which houses not only wine products, but also a rustic museum with collection pieces such as mummified trophy heads, ceramics, gold and silver work, remains of pre-Hispanic cloaks, weapons from different periods, paintings and stuffed animals.

We will continue with a visit to the Tacama Winery, famous for its bell tower and its panoramic view of the fields. During the tour, we will observe the stills and botijas used in the production of piscos and wines. Tacama, one of the oldest hacienda houses in the valley, dates from the 16th century and has colonial architecture. This winery produces wines and piscos of excellent quality, being the oldest vineyard in Peru, located in the oasis of Ica, 300 km from Lima and 400 meters above sea level.

Finally, we will return to the hotel or bus terminal.
