Lima: Excursion to Santa Rosa de Quives and Canta

The northeast of Lima is home to hidden treasures that you can easily discover on this excursion to Santa Rosa de Quives and Canta. You will be surprised by its magical and natural corners!
will make a brief stop so you can have breakfast on your own and then we will begin a guided tour of this small town where Santa Rosa de Lima spent his childhood.

We will visit the house where the blessed lived and her chapel, and we will come to discover the magical Well of Wishes, in which the locals throw letters with requests for the saint to help them achieve them. Don't forget to bring yours!

Next, we will go to Canta, stopping at the Cochapampa viewpoint to admire the wonderful view of the Lima mountain range and its towns.

Once there we will begin to explore the wonders of this town located at the base of the Viuda mountain range, such as the Pomora waterfall and the lagoons of Ocho Colores, Leoncocha and Chuchún. We will take a break in the latter to enjoy the natural environment.

Next we will stop at a country estate in Canta. Here you will have free time to taste typical dishes such as stew or pachamanca, enjoy a pleasant horseback ride and visit the Lucle waterfall or the fish farm.

At 4:00 p.m. we will return to Lima and we will leave you at the starting point around 7:00 p.m.
