Description

The three-day Manu National Park tour from Cusco is popularly known as the Manu National Park Tour from Cusco.
Day 1: Depart Cusco at 3:30 a.m. by private transport to the Amazon rainforest. Stops at Paucartambo and Tres Cruces for panoramic views. Entrance to Manu National Park with excursion through the cloud forest. Boat ride along the Madre de Dios River and the "PekePeke" to the Treehouse Inn lodge. Observation of flora and fauna along the way and accommodation at the Treehouse Inn. Day 2: Visit the Parrot Clay Lick at dawn to see parrots and macaws eating clay. Four-hour walk through the jungle with sightings of various species of animals and birds. Lunch at the Treehouse Inn and visit to an indigenous Matsiguenka community. Night safari to observe nocturnal creatures. Return to the Treehouse Inn for the night. Day 3: Amazonian breakfast and departure from the Treehouse Inn. Sail back to the pier and meet the driver to return to Cusco. Arrival in Cusco at 5:00 p.m.
