Explore the Amazon jungle on a 3-day tour from Tambopata. Stay in a comfortable lodge and explore the Sandoval Lake National Reserve.
Be picked up at the airport or bus station and taken to the lodge. Drive 15 minutes through the city of Puerto Maldonado. Then navigate the Madre de Dios River for about 40 minutes before arriving at the Sandoval Lake checkpoint (TAMBOPATA).
Have the opportunity to observe animals such as giant otters, 4 species of monkeys, butterflies, and a variety of colorful birds native to Peru.
Stay at the Sandoval Lodge, a simple, comfortable, and a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature. Eat a typical jungle dish “JUANE” at the Sandoval for lunch. Get a few minutes to rest and settle in before partaking on an afternoon exploration of the virgin forest.
Search for more animals, birds, and native plants in the area. In the evening, search for caimans, some reaching 4 meters long, before returning to the lodge for the night.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
