Embark on a kayaking adventure on the Madre de Dios River and immerse yourself in the rainforest. Observe dozens of monkeys in their natural habitat and discover the wild side of Puerto Maldonado.
Itinerary
09:00 a.m. Pick up at your accommodation and transfer to the pier in Puerto Maldonado. We will board the kayaks to navigate the Madre de Dios River for approximately 30 minutes, looking for caimans and turtles.
Once on land, we will enter the Peruvian jungle to the zip-line platforms. After putting on our harnesses, we'll be ready to fly! We will enjoy breathtaking views of the jungle and the river.
Afterwards, we will have lunch at a local restaurant, tasting rice, chicken and mushrooms. With renewed energy, we will head to the famous Isla Rodante, also known as Monkey Island, a project of the Inka Terra Association. Here, we will meet friendly macaques in the process of reintegration to their habitat after being victims of the black market.
Finally, we will return to Puerto Maldonado and accompany you back to your hotel at 17:20, concluding this exciting day.
