Description
Enjoy an experience full of landscapes and nature in this excursion to Tambopata, also enjoy the experience of a typical ayahuasca ceremony.
Day 1:
After picking you up at the airport, we will head to the river port where we will board a canoe to head to the Tambopata National Reserve lodge.
This first night you will drink a light broth, vegetable soup or water, as your stomach must be prepared for the ayahuasca ceremony, which will begin around 8:00 pm.
During the rite, the shaman will officiate the ceremony helping us to understand the main concepts of Andean cosmology. We will also taste the famous ayahuasca brew, which is made with medicinal plants from the area.
Day 2 :
This day will begin with a light walk through the jungle, where we will learn about the main medicinal plants and their uses by the native communities.
In the afternoon, we will go up to a lookout point from where we will observe the immensity of the jungle and look for birds such as eagles and macaws. At sunset, we will take a night walk to look for different animals and insects that can only be observed at night.
Day 3 :
This day we will have an early breakfast and leave for the Cococoha Lagoon, where we will hike five and a half kilometers to observe its flora and fauna. We will look for the elusive giant otters of Tambopata, and observe the shanshos, an exotic bird species.
We will return to the lodge for lunch, and in the afternoon we will visit the Laguna Chica, where we will admire the surroundings until sunset. Take advantage of the sunset, take pictures and take fantastic memories!
Day 4:
After breakfast, we will sail to the pier of Puerto Maldonado.From the pier we will take you to the airport in plenty of time.

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
