Description

Kayak along the Madre de Dios River and enter the rainforest to encounter dozens of monkeys. Experience the wildest side of Puerto Maldonado!
After picking you up at the agreed place at 9:00 a.m. we will head to the Puerto Maldonado dock. We will get into the kayaks and, for about 30 minutes, we will navigate the Madre de Dios River in search of alligators and turtles.

We will get off the kayaks and enter the Peruvian jungle to reach the zip line platforms. Above the trees, we will put on the harness and fly! We will slide among nature and have unique views of Puerto Maldonado and the Madre de Dios River.

We will have rice, chicken and mushrooms for lunch at a local restaurant. With a full stomach we will head to the popular Rolling Island, better known as Monkey Island. Did you know that it is a project of the Inka Terra Association? There we will meet dozens of friendly macaques who are trying to readjust to their habitat after being victims of the black market.

After the kayak tour and Monkey Island we will return to Puerto Maldonado.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
