Cusco: 2 days in Puno from Cusco with drop off in Cusco

Day 1: Overnight Bus Trip from Cusco to Puno 09:30 PM: Transfer to the bus station. 22:00 H: Depart by overnight bus to Puno. Enjoy the reclining (bed-like) seats and onboard service. A light blanket is recommended.

Day 2: Day Trip to Lake Titicaca 05:00 H: Arrive in Puno and transfer directly to the port. 06:00 H: Light breakfast (optional at a nearby café). 07:20 AM: Embark for the Uros Floating Islands. 08:00 AM: Visit the islands. Interact with the locals who will explain the history and construction of the totora reed islands. 09:30 AM: Sail to Taquile Island. 11:00 AM: Arrive in Taquile. Walk to the main square and explore the local culture and traditions. 01:00 PM: Lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the lake. 02:30 PM: Return to the port of Puno. 05:00 PM: Arrival in Puno.

Day 3: Amantani Island and return to Puno 07:00 AM: Depart Puno by boat to Amantani Island (approximately 3 hours). 10:00 AM: Arrival at Amantani Island. Hike to the temples of Pachamama and Pachatata, which offer stunning views of Lake Titicaca and the surrounding mountains. 11:30 AM: Experience the local culture with a visit to a traditional family home on the island. You’ll learn about the islanders’ way of life, their customs, and local crafts. 01:00 PM: Enjoy a typical lunch with a local family, featuring traditional island dishes. 02:30 PM: We leave Amantani Island and return to Puno by boat. 05:00 PM: Arrival in Puno. 22:00 H: Departure by night bus back to Cusco. 05:00 AM (next day): Arrival in Cusco.
