Be captivated by the waters of Lake Titicaca and discover local traditions by visiting the floating islands of Uros and Taquile Island.
The tour will start with the pick up from your hotel in Puno at 7:00 am and we will head to the port. We will board a speedboat and navigate the waters of the highest navigable lake in the world.
Our first stop will be the famous floating islands of the Uros. We will disembark on one of the main islands to meet the locals. In this place we will discover everything about one of the first cultures of the Andean highlands, we will be able to admire this impressive artificial archipelago.
Afterwards, we will head to Taquile Island, the largest island in Lake Titicaca. We will get to know the local culture and learn about their handicrafts elaborated with high weaving techniques that make them famous for this.
Then we will make a stop to replenish our strength with a traditional meal of the place. We will finish our tour in the main square of Puno.
