Day 1: Uros and Amantani Island
Embark on an unforgettable journey as we pick you up from your downtown hotel and transport you to the port. Hop aboard a comfortable motorboat accompanied by your knowledgeable guide (English/Spanish). Our first stop is the mesmerizing Uros floating islands, a 30-minute boat ride away. Witness the unique lifestyle of the Uros people and learn about their fascinating culture.
Next, we go towards Amantani Island, an approximately 2.5-hour journey. Upon arrival, we'll take a leisurely 30-minute uphill walk to reach the local houses on Amantani Island. Here, you'll savor a delicious lunch prepared by the islanders. Afterward, take some time to relax before we embark on a hike to the island's highest point. Marvel at the awe-inspiring Inca temples of Pachamama and Pachatata while enjoying one of the most breathtaking sunsets in the world. Return to the local house for a hearty dinner, and if you're up for it, you can join in the lively festivities and dance with the local families (optional).
Day 2: Taquile and Sillustani
Begin the day with a breakfast before descending to the Amantani port at 8:00 am. Board a boat that will transport us to the captivating Taquile Island. Enjoy a delightful lunch on the island while soaking in the scenic surroundings. Afterward, we'll return to the Amantani port by 1:00 pm.
From there, we'll continue our adventure with a visit to the fascinating Sillustani archaeological site. Spend approximately an hour exploring the ancient ruins accompanied by your guide. After this enriching experience, we'll head back to Puno, where we expect to arrive around 5pm.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Take water with you for the uphill walk. Please don't leave plastic bottles on the island
• Take flashlights, as in Amantani there are no streetlights
• The local family will give you 3 blankets for sleeping
• Toilets are basic and there are no showers on Amantani
• Take a light 2 day pack to carry your necessary things (cleaning supplies, camera, external batteries chargers, etc)
• Bring money for snacks and souvenirs in Soles. (preferable 20–soles bills, avoid 100-soles bills)
• Take trekking shoes, hat, sunscreen, trekking poles (optional), binoculars, pen/notebook, medical personal medicines, electronic entertaining devices (cellphone, kindle)
• Bring extra energy bars
Hotels located near plaza de armas of Puno (maximum 3 blocks away from this point)
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
