Experience great adventures as you explore the route of the sun, visiting the breathtaking amatani island.
Day 1: Ruta del Sol - Puno.
- The day will start with your pick up from your hotel, at approximately 6:30 am, to go to the bus terminal in Cuzco.
- Our first stop will be at the Sistine Chapel of Andahuaylillas, known as the Sistine Chapel of America.
- We will continue to the archaeological complex of Raqchi, also known as the temple of the god Wiracocha.
- We will make a brief stop for lunch at the tourist restaurant La Pascana, before continuing to the Paso de la Raya.
- We will conclude the day visiting the Lithic Museum of Pukara, where we can appreciate zoomorphic monoliths and anthropomorphic figures.
Day 2: Uros - Amantani
- The day will start with the pick up at your hotel around 7.30 am, and then we will head to the port of Puno, where we will board the motorboats.
- Our first stop will be at the floating island of the Uros, where we will enjoy a short guided tour to learn about the local culture.
- You will have free time to explore the island and take photos before continuing to Amantani Island.
- We will enjoy lunch with a local family and, in the afternoon, we will explore the upper part of the island, where the Pachatata temple is located.
- Finally, we will return to the city of Puno, arriving at 5:00 pm.
