With a maximum of 4 participants, the workshop offers plenty of space for creativity and individual guidance from your instructor. No previous pottery experience is needed – you’ll be guided through the entire process step by step.
Start with a piece of clay and learn traditional hand-building techniques to shape your own mug. Create and attach the handle, experiment with textures and decorative details, and personalize your piece to make it truly your own. Every mug will be different – that’s part of the experience.
Once your mug is complete, choose its final finish from a palette of around 80 ceramic glaze colors. Whether you prefer something subtle, colorful, glossy, or more natural, you can decide exactly how you want your finished piece to look.
After the workshop, leave the technical part to The Mucha Pottery Studio team. Your mug will slowly dry before undergoing its first ceramic firing. We will then professionally apply your chosen glaze and fire the mug for a second time at high temperature.
The complete finishing process takes approximately 3 weeks from the date of the workshop. Once ready, you can collect your finished mug from the studio or have it carefully packed and shipped to your home. Worldwide shipping is available for an additional fee.

Your mug will not be ready to take home on the day of the workshop. After the activity, it needs to dry and undergo two ceramic firings. Our team will professionally apply the glaze color you selected during the workshop.
The complete finishing process takes approximately 3 weeks from the date of the workshop.
Once finished, your mug can be collected from the studio or shipped to your home. Worldwide shipping is available for an additional fee. Shipping is not included in the activity price and the cost depends on the destination.
As ceramics is a handmade process, slight variations in shape, glaze color, and finish are natural. Despite careful professional handling, handmade ceramics may occasionally develop small imperfections or cracks during drying or firing.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
