Description
This dance class & nightlife tour is a complete Caribbean cultural immersion! You'll sip some cocktails, learn the steps & the history of Puerto Rican Salsa, hear a live band & dance with the locals!
We'll meet up at a beautiful outdoor location where I'll be your personal bartender serving a complimentary cocktail. Once you've built up a little "liquid courage", I will teach you the basics to Latin dancing. We'll start with the Merengue step, an easy Caribbean style that anyone can master. Then we take it up a notch and learn "Salsa de Calle" - which means Street Salsa - the style all the locals dance.
Now that you've got the moves, you’re ready to hit the dance floor! So we’ll walk to a nearby nightlife hot spot where you’ll see a live Salsa band & locals dancing! You can join in, or just watch and enjoy the show.
Other things to note:
1) This event is outdoors in a public plaza. The dance class area is covered and protected from rain.
2) You don't need any prior dancing experience.
3) In the local Salsa scene, different bars are popular on different nights of the week. So the Salsa bar that we go to will vary depending on what night you book.

1) This experience is exclusive to paying participants. Please do not arrive with extra guests unless they plan to pay and participate, thank you! :)
2) I recommend bringing water to hydrate!
We meet at a lovely local park, and we gather for our class by the large stage at one end of the park.

- The price includes a complimentary cocktail, a 1-hour dance class, the cost of any transportation from the meetup location to the Salsa bar (if necessary), the cost of any cover charge or entry fee to the Salsa bar (if necessary).
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
