Description
We started at Monte Brasil with a view of Angra, then went on to the Serretinha viewpoint and Salga Bay. We visited the Church of São Sebastião and then the viewpoints of Serra do Facho and Serra do Cume.
We start our visit at Monte Brasil, enjoying a panoramic view over the city of Angra do Heroísmo at the Pico das Cruzinhas viewpoint. We continue along the east coast towards the Serretinha viewpoint, with a panoramic view over the Cabras Islets.
We continue on to Salga Bay, a landmark in Terceira's history, passing by Mós Bay.
The next stop is the village of São Sebastião, where we visit one of the oldest churches on the island.
We continue towards the city of Praia da Vitória, stopping at the Serra do Facho viewpoint, which offers a privileged view over the city.
Finally, we go up to the Serra do Cume viewpoint, where we can see the famous "Manta de Retalhos", the largest plain and caldera in the Azores.
