You’ll be guided step by step by a local ceramic artist as you shape a mug, bowl, or a small decorative piece using the ancient pinch pot technique. It’s a slow, creative process — perfect for relaxing, having fun, and making something that’s truly yours.
We’ll be working with stoneware clay, known for its strength and durability, so your piece will be not just beautiful, but long-lasting too.
After the workshop, your creation will stay with the artist to dry naturally before being fired twice and glazed. In about 4 weeks, it’ll be ready to pick up or we can ship it to your home — wherever that may be.

The workshop takes place in a cozy atelier insert in an old building, which is next to the gate that connects Batata Beach to the Old Town called Portão de São Gonçalo.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
