A unique birdwatching tour visiting several land sites including Important Bird Areas (IBA) such as the São Lourenço peninsula and the Laurel forest. The right tour to meet the endemic Madeiran birds such as the unique Madeiran Firecrest, the famous and elusive Laurel pigeon and the beautiful, recently acknowledged endemic Madeiran Chaffinch! Observation material is included for everyone but you can obviously take your own. Pick ups and drop offs are available within the Funchal and Caniço areas, please contact us if you are staying outside of such areas for possible alternative pick up/drop off locations.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
