Its an early morning start where after leaving the area of Funchal we will drive you up to the 3rd highest peak of Madeira, Pico do Arieiro for the presentation of the magnificent colors across the sky
You will have the time to sit and relax to capture every moment, every color of the sunrise
After the show is over its time to walk approx. 5 km /(2.5 km each way) towards 2 viewpoints well known and the "Stairway to heaven"
We will finish at one of the most breathtaking views of Funchal city, at the Christ "Garajau" statue
At that will be a memorable start to the day

- From the 01st January 2025, the forest institute of Madeira together with the government authority have implemented a TAX FEE on all the official PR walks .It is a fee for the waste collection and cleaning of the Classified Walking Routes. There is an extra 3 euros per person to pay directly on the day of the walk, upon starting of the walk directly to the identified IFCN operator that will be on route.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
