On this 9-hour tour you get the opportunity to have an overview of the history and the landscapes of the Douro Valley.
The Douro Valley region is known for its unique landscape where the river is beautifully flanked by green mountains on both sides, forming an interesting “V” shape. Not only these mountains flank the river but they also serve a very important purpose: they are the soil where the wine vines are cultivated in terraces, making this sight even more fantastic. Nevertheless, there are plenty of other things to see in the valley including its rich culture, history, gastronomy, and traditions.
The Douro Valley is the world oldest demarcated region for wines in the world! It is also listed as a World Heritage site. After lunch, enjoy a 1-hour panoramic cruise in Pinhão.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
