On the way back, travel along the legendary National Highway 222, named one of the most beautiful roads in the world. Stop at picturesque viewpoints to capture the valley’s magic before heading to the charming town of Amarante. Known as Portugal’s Vinho Verde Capital, Amarante invites you to unwind in a cozy tavern, where you’ll indulge in a glass of fresh, homemade Vinho Verde, paired with artisanal cheese and ham.

As the day draws to a close, relax on the return journey to Porto, arriving around 7 PM, with unforgettable memories of Portugal’s most iconic wine region.
