Join us on an unforgettable adventure on the island of São Miguel. A unique canyoning experience in the Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural Park. An ideal activity for those seeking excitement and contact with nature.
This experience takes place in the stunning Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural Park, located in the northeast of the island of São Miguel, about a 45-minute drive from Ponta Delgada.

Upon arrival, you will be given your personal equipment, followed by a 15-minute walk to the first stop, where we will hold technical and safety briefings.

Then, we will climb another 5 minutes to the start of the canyon—and that's where the real adventure begins!

During canyoning, you will enjoy adrenaline-filled moments with an exciting combination of rappelling, natural slides, toboggans, and jumps.

Note: No maneuver is mandatory. If at any time you don't feel comfortable, there is always a safe alternative for each obstacle.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- A normal level of physical fitness is recommended. This excursion sometimes includes: walking on unstable terrain and slippery rocks, muddy slopes, and small ascents and descents.
- You don't need to know how to swim, you just need to be comfortable in the water. However, please let us know if this is the case.
The guides will be equipped with a white van.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
