Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo: tour of iconic lagoons and viewpoints

The tour starts in Ponta Delgada, heading towards the Pico do Carvão Viewpoint, where you can enjoy a privileged view over the north and south coast of the island, offering a unique perspective of São Miguel's geography

Then we'll head to the Sete Cidades region, stopping at the Sete Cidades Village, where you can explore the picturesque streets and traditional architecture.

The route continues to the tranquil Lagoa de Santiago (Santiago Lake), a true natural haven inside the volcanic caldera, with views of the iconic Lagoa Azul (Blue Lake) and Lagoa Verde (Green Lake).

We'll also visit some of the island's most iconic viewpoints: King's Viewpoint, the impressive Hell's Mouth Viewpoint, and Canary Viewpoint, all perfect spots to snap unforgettable photos of São Miguel's volcanic landscapes.

On the way back, we'll stop at the Escalvado Viewpoint, with panoramic views of the village of Mosteiros and the Mosteiros Islets. The tour wraps up with a return to Ponta Delgada, after a day full of nature, unique landscapes, and unforgettable moments.

The trip continues to Lagoa do Fogo (Fire Lake), one of the most impressive lagoons in the Azores, located in a nature reserve area, known for its crystal clear waters and untouched surroundings (visit subject to weather conditions and access).
