During this trail, you will visit the three highest peaks in Madeira. After a hilly and moderately demanding hike, reach Pico Ruivo, the last of the three, where you can relax, have a snack or visit the shelter. Be sure to head to the top of the peak to marvel at the breathtaking views of the surrounding area that await you. On clear days, enjoy 360-degree views of the whole island.
Then, begin the trek back down the mountain to Achadas do Teixeira.
