1 – Holidays should be relaxed, so avoid getting up early because our experience starts at 3pm.

2 – Many do not enjoy early day drinking before lunch, so we designed this tour for those that want a more leisurely tasting a bit later in the day and in their evening.

3 - A later time of day also avoids the harsh sun and the higher temperatures that exist in the Douro Valley. Cool breezes will take you into the sunset overlooking the most incredible views in Portugal !!!

4 - In this experience you will also visit the famous, Vinho Verde region and its charming city of Amarante, and have some tastings.

5 - Our Farm-to Table Chef will present a special dinner with our D.O.C. wines .

6 - Everyone will also attend a live show including a wine comedy where you will not only learn about Douro Valley wines , but enjoy a laugh or two.

7 - We will open a bottle of Vintage Port Wine by fire, and one of our sommeliers will demonstrate this unique wine event that many have never seen before.

In summary, our team will leave the city of Porto at 3 pm and head towards the city of Amarante where we will taste the famous Vinho Verde wines.

Then, we head to the Douro Valley where you´ll see amazing landscapes, to our family owned wine Quinta, where we will have a very high quality wine event, starting with a presentation by a WSET sommelier and we will visit our winemaking centre, followed by a chef's dinner and continuing with Several wine tastings and a finale of a live show with hilarious wine comedy !
