Description

Explore Europe's southernmost point in this day-tour of Gibraltar. Catch a glimpse of North Africa and see Europe's only wild apes. Then go on to visit an ancient lighthouse, the stunning St George's Hall, and the historic siege tunnels.
Explore Gibraltar, the United Kingdom's outpost on the Iberian Peninsula for more than 200 years. First, ride to the southernmost point in Gibraltar, Europa Point. Visit the Trinity House lighthouse with impressive views across the Straits of Gibraltar to the Northern coast of Africa, which is visible on a clear day.

The next stop is spectacular St. Michael’s Cave, which during World War II the cave was converted into a military hospital. It has a wealth of history dating back thousands of years. Today it is used as a concert hall, making it one of the best natural auditoriums, with great acoustics and a seating capacity for 400 people.

Then travel to the Apes' Den, where the famous Barbary Apes may be observed in their natural habitat – the only apes roaming wild in Europe.

Continue your Gibraltar Rock tour as visit the Great Siege Tunnels, carved out by the Merchant Marines to defend Gibraltar during the Great Siege of 1779 to 1783. Walk down the well-lit tunnels and pass many old guns that defended the Spanish border through holes in the walls. At the end of the tunnel is St George's Hall, a large cave with many cannons that also defended the Mediterranean side of the Rock.

Your tour ends at Casemates Main Square, where you can enjoy shopping, eating and relaxing.
