Drive your own buggy on mud roads and tropical trails. Get to know Dominican rural life, try organic coffee and cocoa, and cool off with a dip on a pristine beach.
Get ready for an unforgettable off-road adventure in Puerto Plata! After picking you up from your hotel or port, we'll head to our base where you'll get a safety briefing and instructions on how to drive your powerful buggy. Once you're ready, we'll start driving along dusty roads and muddy trails (depending on the weather) surrounded by lush vegetation.
During the trip, you'll pass through small rural villages where you can get a closer look at the Dominican way of life. We'll stop at a typical house to taste the authentic flavor of freshly brewed organic coffee and cocoa. The excitement continues as we head towards the coast, where we'll arrive at a beautiful, pristine beach. Here, you'll have time to dust off the road with a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic. It's the perfect mix of adrenaline, culture, and relaxation in paradise.

You must be at least 18 years old to drive, and you'll need to show a valid driver's license. Get ready to get dirty; we recommend wearing old or dark clothes. The price is per person, but the buggies are usually for two people sharing. If you're traveling solo, you could share the vehicle with another adventurer.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
