Your adventure kicks off in the heart of the Dominican jungle, where the famous Damajagua Falls await you. After receiving your safety gear and a briefing, you'll set off on a hike along tropical trails teeming with wildlife. When you reach the river, the fun begins: you'll jump into turquoise pools and slide down rock slides polished by water for centuries under the supervision of expert guides.
After burning off some energy in the river, we'll enjoy a typical buffet lunch to savor Dominican cuisine.
The second part of the day takes us to a sensory immersion in a local cocoa workshop. Here, you'll not only see how the fruit grows, but you'll also actively participate in the process "from tree to bar." You'll learn how to roast and grind the beans, and discover the secrets of making organic and sustainable chocolate on the island. We'll finish with a delicious tasting of different varieties of artisanal cocoa before taking you back to your accommodation.
