The journey begins a few kilometers above the village of Entre-deux at 1,100m, starting from the La Chapelle trail. Ascending through a forest of endemic trees reveals a landscape typical of the heights of western Reunion.
At the summit of Dimitile, a breathtaking panorama of the Cilaos circus unfolds. At the base of the summit, we visit the "camp marron," a reconstruction honoring the escaped slaves who sought refuge in the island's highlands.
After a refreshing picnic break, we descend through the pleasant Dubard trail, consistently offering beautiful views of the island's southern coast.

• The walk is 8 kilometers long and takes about 4 hours to complete.
• You will need to pack a picnic lunch, snacks, and a minimum of 2 liters of water per person for the day.

• We cannot accept minors under the age of 18 unaccompanied by an adult.
• The guide will call you the day before the hike to give you the last details.
• Minimum 4 people to confirm the start. Full refund if no-go.
