Description

A two hour walking tour of the beautlful Georgian City of Bath, England. Historically and architecturally accurate, plus a lot of fun with a local guide who has lived in Bath for over fifty years.
The tour starts and finishes at Bath Abbey and takes approximately two hours. It passes the location of the three hot springs, the Roman Baths and the Pump Room. It then follows a route through Bath Street to the Cross Bath and the modern Thermae Baths. It then passes the Theatre Royal, the old wall and the Mineral Water Hospital to Queen Square, past the Jane Austen Centre to the Upper Assembly Rooms and the Circus. From there it takes in the Royal Crescent, Royal Victoria Park, Pulteney Bridge and the old East Gate before returning to Bath Abbey. The tour goes in any weather, so partipants should wear appropriate clothing and be reasonably fit.
