Set off from Glasgow in the morning and journey into the heart of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, where rolling hills and shimmering lochs set the tone for the day ahead. Continue through the wild, untamed beauty of Rannoch Moor before stopping at the legendary Glen Coe, a place packed with dramatic peaks and unforgettable views.

From here, travel onwards to the bustling fishing village of Mallaig. You’ll have time to wander the harbour, explore the town, and grab an early dinner — seafood lovers, this is your moment.

Then comes the star of the show: the Jacobite Steam Train. Board in Mallaig and sit back as you glide along Scotland’s rugged west coast. Keep your eyes peeled for the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct, instantly recognisable from the Harry Potter films.

Disembark in Fort William, where your guide will be waiting to continue the journey. From here, relax on a scenic coach ride back to Glasgow, rounding off an unforgettable Highland adventure.

Minimum age to travel is 5 years old, while anyone aged 5-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note that itinerary order may change.
Travel insurance is recommended.
We advise you to organise transport to the departure point in advance and make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in; late arrivals cannot be refunded and we cannot delay departure.
Return times are approximate and subject to weather/travel conditions - allow at least 3 hours for onward travel or reservations.
Each traveller may bring 1 suitcase (max 33lbs/15kg) and 1 carry-on.
Collapsible wheelchairs are allowed if you are accompanied by someone to assist with boarding.

We meet 15 minutes before departure at Buchanan Street Bus Station, Glasgow, G2 3NW, stance 23 to 32 (look out for a blue bus). Check the screens for your departure gate.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
