On this tour, we will begin by exploring St. Paul's Cathedral and then head south of the river, away from the authority of the City, to the cultural and historical legacy of Southwark.
We will see London's iconic bridges, Shakespeare and the world of Elizabethan theater, and visit old taverns where criminals and sailors shared stories of shipwrecks. We will visit the oldest prison where torture was routine and cemeteries that reflect the evolution of the city. We will also walk through iconic streets and buildings that have been the scene of important events and traditions, ending with a walk that will connect us with London's past and present.
We will finish at the Tower of London and its majestic bridge.
