Description

Discover Scotland with a Spanish-speaking guide: Lake Katrine, Aberfoyle, Loch Lomond, and Glasgow, exploring legends, landscapes, and cultural highlights.
Embark on a journey through authentic Scotland with a Spanish-speaking guide, exploring its legends, natural landscapes, and urban highlights. We depart from our meeting point at 190 High Street, in the heart of Edinburgh’s Royal Mile, and head west into the scenic Scottish countryside.

Our first stop is Callander, a charming town where we take a short break to stretch our legs before continuing toward the Highlands.

Next, we arrive at the magical Lake Katrine, often considered the most beautiful lake in Scotland. Here, you can enjoy a relaxing walk along its shores or take an optional cruise (approx. £15 adults, £14 seniors, £9.50 children 5–16, free under 5). The lake has inspired legends and literature, most notably Sir Walter Scott’s works. Its tranquil waters were admired by Rob Roy during his exile and even Queen Victoria fell in love with its enchanting scenery.

We then continue to Aberfoyle, the gateway to the Trossachs National Park. This picturesque village is perfect for a lunch break and a moment to admire the surrounding nature that has inspired folklore and Scottish traditions.

Our journey continues to the shores of Loch Lomond, the largest lake in the United Kingdom. Here, you can stroll along the water, take photos, and enjoy breathtaking views of this iconic Scottish landmark, surrounded by rolling hills and woodland.

Finally, we reach Glasgow, Scotland’s economic and cultural hub. On a panoramic drive, we follow the course of the River Clyde to see the city’s evolution from industrial center to modern metropolis. Highlights include Castle Street, Green Park, historic Victorian buildings, Norman Foster’s 2014 revitalization projects for the Commonwealth Games, the University of Glasgow, and the Kelvingrove Museum. We also stop at George Square for a brief walk through the city center.

After a full day of history, culture, legends, and stunning landscapes, we return to Edinburgh, arriving at Hanover Street in New Town. This tour offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, folklore, and urban exploration.
