Day 1: Akagera National Park Safari
After arriving in Kigali, you will be picked up by your driver-guide. Drive to Akagera National Park for a full-day safari adventure. Explore the park and spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and a variety of birdlife. In the evening, head to your accommodation near the park or return to Kigali to rest.
Day 2: Golden Monkey Trekking
After breakfast, drive north to Volcanoes National Park for a morning trek to see the endangered golden monkeys. Enjoy the lush scenery and playful behavior of these rare primates. After the trek, continue your journey to Bwindi, Uganda, and stay overnight near the park, preparing for the next day’s gorilla adventure.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Wake up early for a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Spend the morning observing these magnificent animals in their natural habitat. After the trek, relax and rest at your lodge, reflecting on this unforgettable experience.
Day 4: Kigali City Tour
On the final day, enjoy a Kigali city tour. Visit key landmarks, local markets, and cultural sites to get a true feel for Rwanda’s capital. In the evening, return to your hotel or proceed to the airport for departure.

Heads up before booking: Gorilla trekking permits are not included in the trip cost, as prices vary by nationality. For Bwindi (Uganda) the current rates are:

Foreign residents: USD 700
African nationals: USD 500
Ugandan & East African Community citizens: UGX 300,000 (about USD 80)
In Rwanda (Volcanoes National Park), the gorilla permit is USD 1,500 per person.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
