Depart Beaune or Dijon at 10:00 am and travel through the wine-producing villages of one of the world's most famous wine regions. Admire the vineyards of the Côte de Beaune, where great Burgundy wines such as Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet are produced.
Stop on the hillside of Corton to experience a unique location for red and white Grands Cru wines. Take part in a prestige wine tasting in a wine cellar, and savor elegant Pinot Noirs and unoaked white wines. Enjoy a wine tasting lunch at a family-run estate in the Côte de Nuits or Côte de Beaune, where you can choose wines paired with typical Burgundy dishes and cheeses (closed Sundays). Alternatively, eat lunch at an idyllic vineyard restaurant that serves traditional, elegant cuisine.
Travel along Burgundy’s "Champs-Elysées" on the Route des Grands Crus and discover the picturesque wine-producing villages of the Côte de Nuits wine region, such as Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny. Stop at Romanée Conti and Clos de Vougeot.
After lunch, work off the calories with a stroll through the vineyards to learn more about the local wine growing practices and history of Burgundy wines. Visit a boutique winery and meet the winemaker as you investigate the finest examples of the Pinot Noir grape variety in relation to the terroir (soil). Return to your drop off point at approximately 17:30.
