Begin your 2-day AlUla experience with pickup from your hotel or accommodation. Meet your private local guide and travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle as you discover AlUla’s ancient heritage, dramatic landscapes, and local culture at a relaxed pace.

On day 1, explore Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stand before monumental Nabataean tombs carved into sandstone mountains and hear the stories of ancient traders, travelers, and civilizations that once crossed this region.

Continue to Maraya, where the iconic mirrored building reflects the cliffs and desert scenery of Ashar Valley. Capture memorable photographs before visiting Elephant Rock, one of AlUla’s most recognizable natural formations.

Later, walk through the narrow streets and traditional buildings of AlUla Old Town. Learn about the families, merchants, and pilgrims who shaped its history, then continue to the neighboring AlJadidah Arts District. Explore colorful murals, creative spaces, boutiques, local shops, cafés, and restaurants while enjoying the lively evening atmosphere. After free time for shopping or dinner, return to your accommodation.

On day 2, discover Dadan, the ancient capital of the Dadanite and Lihyanite kingdoms. See the Lion Tombs carved into the mountain and learn how these powerful civilizations controlled important trade routes across northwest Arabia.

Continue to Jabal Ikmah, an extraordinary open-air library filled with ancient inscriptions and rock carvings. Your guide will explain what these writings reveal about ancient languages, beliefs, trade, and everyday life.

Next, slow down among the palm trees of the AlUla Oasis. Walk through traditional farms and learn how water systems, date palms, and citrus trees supported local communities for generations.

Visit Daimumah for a peaceful break in a beautiful natural setting. Purchase coffee, relax among the palms, and exchange stories with your local guide for a more personal understanding of AlUla’s culture and way of life.

Continue to Shalal Café, surrounded by mountains and natural scenery, before ending your journey at Harrat Viewpoint. Take in panoramic views over AlUla’s oasis, Old Town, mountains, and desert as the landscape changes with the evening light.

The order of the stops may change according to official entry times, opening hours, and local conditions to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience.
