It is a self-guided audio tour that you can start, pause, or restart at any time and complete at your own pace
You can download the tour at any time, before or after your booking date. It is best to download the tour before you set off for the starting point
When the download is complete, you will see a screen with a photo of the starting point and directions to it. The red start button will become active when you are at the starting point
The tour follows a set route and includes turn-by-turn directions. It works best if you start it in the right place and follow the directions from one location to the next Please note that you'll need to use your own mobile device and headphones for this tour. The tour is only available in English
The tour starts at the marketplace of Carouge. To go there, you can, from the center of Geneva, either walk the street of Carouge which is in Geneva and leads to Carouge. This will take some 30 minutes. Or you can take any tramway nr 12 from the downtown area or 18 from the main station area with direction Bachet, De Stael, or Palette. After crossing a little river, get off at the second stop called “Carouge Marché” and you are there. This will take some 15 minutes. If you are staying in a hotel in Geneva, the reception will have given you the free “Geneva transport card”. Offered by the State of Geneva, it allows you to take any public transportation in the canton for free during your whole stay.
