Your 3.5-hour adventure starts as soon as you leave the harbor. Your French-speaking and English-speaking guide is waiting for you for a stress-free tour.
First stop: Kermel Market. Immerse yourself in the colors, spices, and fabrics of Dakar's most famous open market.
Next: We continue to the Mosque of Divinity, a masterpiece on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Photo required.
Then, we'll head to the African Renaissance Monument. It stands 52 meters tall and offers panoramic views of the entire city.
Pink Lake option: We will make a quick stop if time permits.
The tour ends with a boat ride to Gorée Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will visit the House of Slaves, a place steeped in history.
Guaranteed drop-off at the harbor 2 hours before your ship's departure. Day trip available only on stopover days.
In the event of postponement due to weather or if the main stop at Lake Retba cannot be made for natural reasons (lake dry, access impossible), a full refund of the booking will be issued. Lac Rose is a planned stop but subject to natural conditions and therefore considered optional.

Meet at 8:00 a.m. at Port De Dakar, at the cruise ship passenger exit, Gate 1. The guide will be waiting for you with a sign that reads "Car Rapide Tour – Gorée + Lac Rose." We leave directly from the harbor in a colorful Car Rapide coach. No need to take a taxi – we take care of everything.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
