Tour the Fathala Reserve on a 4x4 safari, with private door-to-door pickup from your hotel
Your adventure begins with a private pickup from your hotel in Dakar or on the coast (Saly, Somone, Mbour, Pointe-Sarène) in an air-conditioned vehicle. We leave at 6:00 AM to avoid traffic and arrive at the reserve when the wildlife is most active.

You will then continue in an open 4x4 safari vehicle with 360° visibility, traveling along the paths of the reserve. You'll be able to spot white rhinos, giraffes, zebras, the elusive Derby eland, forest buffaloes, warthogs, and troops of monkeys, all among thousand-year-old baobabs.

You'll have time for lunch at the reserve's restaurant, overlooking a natural pond where animals often come to drink. In the afternoon, visit the baobab of Joal. The largest baobab in all of Senegal. The full-day tour lasts between 10 and 12 hours, and you will be back at your hotel at sunset.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
