Lake Retba: Traditional-motif painting workshop + tea + pool access

2-hour painting workshop at Lac Rose with traditional motifs, tea, and pool access. Have a creative experience at Lac Rose by creating your own work – no artistic experience required
• Painting workshop (approximately 2 hours)
Under the guidance of Mame Birame Mbodj, you will learn step by step how to depict typical Senegalese motifs (scenes of life, symbols, landscapes, or abstract motifs) on paper or canvas – it's up to you to choose the medium.
All equipment is provided (paints, brushes, paper/canvas, aprons). No previous experience is required; the workshop is ideal for beginners and for the curious who simply want to create.
• Traditional tea ceremony
During or after the painting session, enjoy a traditional Senegalese tea ceremony (Attaya). You will discover its significance in everyday life and share a friendly moment with the artist and the other participants.
• Access to the swimming pool at Lac Rose
Relax by the pool, take a swim, or simply admire the unique landscape around Lac Rose.
• 30-minute guided walking tour of the artists' village
After the workshop, Mame Birame Mbodj will take you on a 30-minute walk through the nearby artisan village. You will learn about the techniques of local craftsmanship, the workshops, and the daily life of the artistic community.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
