Day 1: Arrival in Vienna (Austria)
Welcome to Vienna. After your arrival, make your way to the hotel already booked for you by Choose Balkans, where you will be welcomed by hotel staff assisting you with the check-in procedures. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 2: Vienna – Rust – Bratislava (Slovakia)
After experiencing the cultural and historical splendor of Austria, meet your tour leader and drive towards Rust in the region of Burgenland, known as a wine region of Austria. Walk through the picturesque old town with colorful houses decorated with flower boxes, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Overnight in Bratislava.

Day 3: Day tour of Bratislava
After breakfast, visit Bratislava, a charming city alongside the Danube. Explore the medieval Old Town Hall and learn more about the ancient history of Slovakia. Overnight in Bratislava.

Day 4: Bratislava – Győr (Hungary) – Budapest
Continue towards Hungary. The first stop will be the picturesque “City of Rivers”, Győr. The city is filled with a rich history, baroque architecture, and tasty Hungarian food. The center of the city is surrounded with multi-color homes and churches. Overnight in Budapest.

Day 5: Day tour of Budapest
Explore the “Queen of the Danube”, Budapest. This scenic city is known for its singular mix of Baroque, Neoclassical, and Art Nouveau architecture. The capital of Hungary is divided by the Danube into two parts: traditional "Buddha" and cosmopolitan "Pest". Budapest offers an unmatched combination of culture and tradition.

Day 6: Budapest – Subotica (Serbia) – Novi Sad
Continue to Subotica in Serbia, rich cultural heritage assets, intricately decorated buildings, multicultural spirit, and European charm. In Subotica, be amazed by the vibrant colors and outstanding architecture of the city due to its once importance and wealth during the Austro-Hungarian empire. Overnight in Novi Sad.

Day 7: Walking tour of Novi Sad
Start with a city tour of Novi Sad, considered to be the cultural capital of northern Serbia. Located on the historical border of two former empires – the Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman, as a result, you will be able to distinguish among the mixture of melting cultures influencing the town through centuries. Overnight in Novi Sad.

Day 8: Novi Sad – Sremski Karlovci – Belgrade
Learn more about the region’s tradition on wine production in Sremski Karlovci, the center of Serbian culture in the 18th century and famous for the well-respected wine cellars. After the tour, have some free time to taste different wine specialties of the region, by enjoying the spectacular views of the vineyards. Overnight in Belgrade.

Day 9: Walking tour of Belgrade – End of the tour
Visit Belgrade. The first stop will be Belgrade Fortress and Kalemegdan Park, built on the confluence of two big rivers Sava and the Danube. This will remark the end of this tour from Central Europe to the Balkans.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
