Description

Immerse yourself in Korean culture with a homestay program. Stay with a local family, enjoy home-cooked meals, and explore the city together.
Experience Korea beyond the usual sightseeing and tourist trails with a homestay program. Immerse yourself in Korean life by staying with a local family, sharing daily life, and building meaningful relationships.

With over 12,000 hosts across Korea and more than 30,000 participants from around the world, this program has helped travelers connect deeply with Korean culture, build meaningful relationships, and create lasting memories — all through the simple, powerful act of sharing daily life with a local family.

A homestay is much more than just a place to sleep. It's a doorway into real Korean life full of laughter, home-cooked meals, quiet moments, and heartfelt conversations. You’ll be welcomed into a real Korean home, not as a guest, but as a temporary family member.

Whether you're staying for one night or a few days, you'll get to truly live like a local. Wake up to the rhythms of Korean life, enjoy breakfast with your host family, chat over tea in the living room, and help prepare dinner in the kitchen. It's the kind of experience you simply can’t find in hotels or guesthouses.

One of the highlights of the homestay program is the shared experience with your host family, not just in the home, but out in the city as well. Many hosts love showing guests around their neighborhood or even acting as your personal guide through the streets of Seoul or other regions.

Take a walk through a bustling traditional market, explore local hidden gems, visit cultural spots, or simply go grocery shopping together. These small, everyday moments become meaningful memories when shared with locals who genuinely care about making your visit special.

Back at home, you’ll often cook a delicious Korean dinner together. Whether it's kimchi-making, grilling bulgogi, or preparing comforting stews, you'll learn firsthand how food is made and shared in Korean homes. Then, sit down together around the dinner table — laughing, chatting, and enjoying your hard-earned meal just like family.

The homestay program is not just about accommodation, it's a deep cultural exchange. You'll learn Korean customs, etiquette, mealtime habits, and even pick up some useful language skills. Practice basic Korean phrases with your hosts, share stories from your own culture, and engage in conversations that bridge the gap between worlds.

This is your chance to experience 정 (jeong) — a uniquely Korean emotion that represents affection, deep care, and a meaningful bond that develops through shared experiences. It’s the invisible thread that ties you to the people you meet, long after your stay has ended.

Because every host and guest is different, no two homestays are ever the same. Some families are young couples with kids, others are retirees with plenty of stories to tell — each offering a unique perspective on Korean life. And because the experience is so personal, many guests leave with more than memories — they leave with lifelong friends and even return for future visits.
